A Family Fun Walk

Ezra’s Event raised $5400.00 for research! 

Ezra’s Event for ARPKD/CHF, the Family Fun Walk sponsored by Children of Tomorrow Learning Center (COT) in Chanhassen, MN.  Ezra is a beautiful, spunky preschooler at Children of Tomorrow.  His mother Denelle is a pre-school teacher at the school as well.

Ezra’s story has touched the lives of all the teachers and families attending COT and is reason for the Family Fun Walk.  Ezra was born with a rare genetic disease called Autosomal Recessive Polycystic Kidney Disease (ARPKD). He was diagnosed with it when Denelle was 35 weeks pregnant. The doctor's had told her and her husband, Shane, that he would not live for more than a few minutes to a few hours after his birth due to the complications of this disease.

Ezra will be turning six on September 12th and the Family Fun Walk is an excellent way to celebrate his life. All funds raised during the Family Fun Walk will be donated to the ARPKD/CHF Alliance in an effort to continue research for this horrible disease and support educational efforts to enlighten us all.
