On April 24, 2008, President Bush signed into law the Genetic Information
Nondiscrimination Act (GINA). GINA
provides protections against genetic discrimination by health
insurers and employers.
The ARPKD/CHF Alliance is a member of
the Coalition for Genetic Fairness and supported GINA.
