Son Ezra, born 2001, diagnosed at 35 weeks.
Delivered at 36 weeks, no amniotic fluid at time of delivery,
breathed fine on his own. Yet, was given no hope for survival after
birth, parents were told not to feed, not to prolong Ezra's
suffering.
Kidneys working 100% when born. On
medications for severe hypertension since birth, hospitalized 3
times for hypertension.
Kidneys currently functioning at 50%.
Medications for hypertension are Atenolol, Amlodipine, Enalapril,
and Furosemide. Also on 3 TUMS for every meal and snack to help
with high phosphorus levels. Liver involvement, spleen enlarged
borderline, portal hypertension.
