The ARPKD/CHF Alliance Welcomes
Dr. Ronald Sokol to our Professional Advisory Board

Dr. Ronald J. Sokol, MD, Professor and Vice Chair of Pediatrics, Director at the Colorado Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute, and Chief of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Nutrition, and the Digestive Health Institute, at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and The Children’s Hospital has joined the ARPKD/CHF Alliance’s Professional Advisory Board.

Dr. Sokol is a well-known and respected GI specialist in the professional community and intimately involved in ChiLDREN, formerly called CLIC.

The ChiLDREN Network combines the Biliary Atresia Research Consortium (BARC) and the Cholestatic Liver Disease Consortium (CLiC), as well as new studies on cystic fibrosis liver disease (CFLD). The ChiLDREN Network was developed to support the discovery of new diagnostics, etiologic, and treatment options for children with liver disease, and those who undergo liver transplantation. The Network also supports training for the next generation of investigators in rare, pediatric liver diseases.

The ARPKD/CHF Alliance is very grateful to include Dr. Sokol on our Professional Advisory Board; we are certain he will be an asset to the ARPKD/CHF community!
